PROJECT 1
(Case Study: Shading and Lighting)
In this assignment, We are tasked to identify passive design strategies for Shading and Lighting and analyze the effect of thermal comfort/ comfort factors in a person and in a space relating to Shading and Lighting with group of 5 people. We are also tasked to criticize design of the space in terms of thermal comfort by referring to MS1525 , UBBL and GBI to suggest some passive solutions for the space.

This module helped me to improve my knowledge on creating comfortable environment or buildings for human. I've learned many things, for example choosing suitable shading devices for different sites, different activities have different requirements for light brightness, the importance of renewable energy for our lives and more. I would also like to thanks Ar. Edwin for giving us many useful advisement and knowledge during our tutorials. He helps us a lot to complete this assignment and this module. Thanks to all of the lectors too in this module. Lastly, I would like to say thankyou to my groupmates for the group assignments. They helped me a lot, not only when doing the project, but they help me to understand better in this module.
